Goodbye shroomy’ Tuesday…

Sorry, sorry-I couldn’t help myself with the title!

For all those who clicked on this post thinking you were about to get some sort of “out-of-this-world-what-kind-of-mushroom-is-this-actually-I-don’t-care” recipe, I’m afraid you better brace yourself.

For exactly that.

You want a mind blowing, smile inducing, hair raising kind of recipe?

Well here you go!

Butter button mushrooms & parsley on toasts


For one person:

About ten button mushrooms sliced

1 teaspoon of butter

salt & pepper

1 teaspoon of freshly chopped parsely

4 slices of baguette rounds

Put the mushrooms, butter, seasoning and parsley in to a pan on a medium heat. Pop a lid on the pan and stir occasionally when the butter starts to melt.

Toast your baguette and when the mushrooms have turned slightly brown, pour over your baguette and make sure all the buttery juices are used up.
